imenicaanatomija

In the eye, a ring of fiber supporting the lens. The ligaments attach to the ciliary muscles, the circle of muscle mainly responsible for changing the shape of the lens during accommodation. If the ligaments are put under tension, the lens becomes flatter, and therefore able to focus on objects in the far distance.
